Dr. John Wheeler, Pastor
I received Christ at the age of five and it has been a joy to serve the Lord from my youth. I love the Lord, His word, and his people. I am glad to be part of the Liberty Baptist Church family and to proclaim Liberty in Jesus .
My wife and children are my greatest blessing. My wife, Bethany, has been literally around the world and back with me. She grew up in a pastor’s home and is familiar with the joys and heartaches of ministry. She loves and walks with God, and loves God’s people. She is an excellent wife and mother. Our daughter, Ashton, and Andrew live in Knoxville and are great parents to our two lovely granddaughters. Our son, Riley, leads the music. I am grateful for my family.
