Come Visit Liberty Baptist Church

We would love to minister to you and help build you up in the faith. There are also opportunities to serve as well.

If you are not 100% sure you are on your way to heaven, we invite you to let us show you how you can know.

Gathering as a church body is about pleasing and glorifying our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 10:31; Revelation 4:10-11). It is not about adapting to the social whims of society (Romans 12:2). So our goal in coming to church should be to put a smile on the face of God.

We should:

  1. Glorifying the Savior (1 Peter 3:18).
  2. Go preach the gospel and support world wide missions (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; Philippians 4:13-19).
  3. Grow in grace and in knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18; Ephesians 4:12).

We are a King James Bible believing, gospel preaching, premillennial, pre-tribulation rapture, soul winning, missions-minded, independent, fundamental, Baptist church.

In regards to the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the Bible teaches us:

  • Jesus is coming again for His church (born again believers) before the tribulation (John 14:1-6; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Corinthians 15:51-58). This is commonly called “the rapture.”
  • While the church is in heaven (Revelation 4-5), God will deal with Israel and the world during the 7 year tribulation period (Daniel 9:24-27; Revelation 6-19).
  • At the end of the 7 year tribulation period, the Lord Jesus Christ will return to this earth and establish a literal, visible kingdom with His throne in Jerusalem (Revelation 19:11-21).
  • Jesus will rule on this earth for 1,000 years (Revelation 20:2-7). Anyone who does not believe this has to deny two-thirds of the prophecies in the word of God.
  • After the 1,000 reign of Christ, he will create a new heavens and a new earth. The church will live in the New Jerusalem in eternity (Revelation 21:1-22:5).

About Our Logo

At first glance we see growth out of the Scriptures (1 Peter 2:2). In the center of the logo we seed Isaiah 61:1-3 which presents both the first and the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The first coming is when Jesus gave His blood and died for our sins on the cross, was buried and rose again the third day. Through Him we preach liberty to the captives of sin. Because He’s coming back, the best is yet to come. For this all we glorify God.

Isaiah 61:1-3.

  1. The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; Because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; He hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
  2. To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all that mourn;
  3. To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, To give unto them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they might be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.

There is a lighter color branch representing the grafting in of the Gentiles (Romans 11) reminding us of the mysteries of the temporary rejection of Israel nationally and that of the Jews and Gentiles in one body in Christ (Ephesians 3:1-7).
